MISSION

      Haitian American Group for Human Development Inc. is a not-for-profit organization constituted with the mission to contribute to the promotion of  the values and principles, and to the concretization of the Millennium Development Goals preconized by the Resolution 55/2 of the September 2000 General Assembly of the United Nations and the two subsequent 2002 summits on financing and  sustaining development.

     

STRATEGIES

HAGRO will act to reach its objectives through those four axes of actions:

  1.- Instill into the International Institutions and Governments more sensitivity and engagement to the sustainability issue of a massive economic assistance to human development in Haiti.

   2.- Support, in USA and in Haiti, institutional and organizational reinforcement for long term and comprehensive strategies of socioeconomic development and environmental protection.

   3.- Reinforce in USA the civic engagement and the capacity of haitian american communities to contribute more efficiently to the development of the alma mater.

   4.-  Participate in both countries to the planning and execution of sectorial projects notably in the domains of public health, agro-industry and watersheds development.
